|Entry requirements||You must be employed in a salon or barbers for at least 16 hours/week.|
|Who is it for?||Advanced Barbering Training is for anyone who’s serious about a barbering career. There are options to suit individual needs and aspirations – and if you’re already working in barbering, you could develop your skills to become a senior stylist.|
|Cost||16 – 24 – fully funded if employed in a salon and 24+ student loans are available|
|Duration||up to 23 months for 16 – 21 year olds and up to 12 months for 22+|

|Assessment method||The NVQ Diploma is assessed in the workplace or a realistic working environment. The qualifications are likely to call for a variety of assessment methods and the national occupational standards define what is to be assessed. Methods of assessment include:
